During my time at BroadbandTV, I had the opportunity to work closely with the NBA to create a video network unique to basketball fans. Playmakers is a community for content creators with a focus on basketball and basketball culture. When creating the visual language of the brand, I wanted to allude to streetball as a collective of basketball fans. This was accomplished by applying a gritty texture in conjunction with the NBA’s bold reds and blues. At the same time, I wanted to showcase BroadbandTV’s offering, hence the use of a highly polished icon set.
